Summary
To provide general support for the faculty and staff of the Department of English.

Essential Functions
- Design, create, and update content for various department social media channels for promoting department events and maintaining social media networks
- Assist with office needs such as copying, scanning, filing, data entry, etc.
- Provide support for department events
- Check the weekly Campus Update e-mail for relevant University events/programs/opportunities to share to our social media channels (weekly)
- Work with Office Coordinator to design promotional images on Canva for key Department events (Commencement, Celebration of Excellence, and class registration, for example)
- Serve as backup photographer at key Department events (as schedule allows)
- Assist visitors as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with social media
- Experience with design of flyers, infographics, or webpages
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience in writing and editing
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
