Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• May be required to float to other MS/Tele units and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (days: 7:00am–7:30pm, nights: 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs of the facility
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry (travel experience may count toward this requirement)
• 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Travelers may not work at any Cleveland Clinic location for more than 18 consecutive months; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
