Business Analyst II

Onsite in Cincinnati, OH

The organization seeks a Business Analyst to elicit and translate business requirements into functional designs while partnering closely with technical teams. The role will conduct testing with clear acceptance criteria, support data platforms, and contribute to internal initiatives including documentation and tooling. The analyst will run meetings, assist with project management, and perform SQL-based data validation to ensure accurate outcomes. The position requires strong analytical thinking, communication, and the ability to work independently onsite.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

• Meet with business stakeholders to elicit and clarify requirements and decompose them for functional design.
• Collaborate with technical team members to translate requirements into appropriate technical designs.
• Define clear test acceptance criteria and execute unit and user acceptance testing.
• Create and execute SQL scripts for ETL and data validation testing.
• Conduct research related to banking, data engineering and architecture, and data security trends.
• Support and troubleshoot data platforms.
• Plan and execute internal projects including legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics improvements, tool development, and technical documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Manage and prioritize multiple assignments and run meetings effectively.
• Assist in project management activities as needed.

• 3 to 10 years of experience as a business analyst or in a closely related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to run meetings and drive outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical audiences.
• Experience working onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
• Disputes experience (preferred).
• Financial crimes or financial industry knowledge (preferred).
• SQL experience (preferred).
