IT Infrastructure Engineer

Northwest Partners is engaged in a strategic initiative with a well-established technology organization and seeks an experienced IT infrastructure engineer to support core systems and networking environments. This role will contribute to backup, security, and endpoint management projects.

What YOU will do
Administer and maintain Microsoft Server environments
Manage Active Directory with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID integration
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange and Outlook
Oversee VMware virtualization and Veeam backup solutions
Coordinate tape backup using tools like Expedient or Zerto
Configure and manage Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points
Support VPN configuration and maintenance
Collaborate with global vendors for network hardware deployments
Manage endpoints and patching using Intune and SCCM
Utilize SysAid for ticket tracking and resolution
Implement and monitor MFA solutions
Deploy and monitor endpoint security using CrowdStrike
Support incident response with global security teams
Use vulnerability scanning tools including Taegis and Sophos
Engage in global incident calls and response planning
Provide support for communication systems including 8x8
Assist in new tool deployment such as NinjaOne and Rubrik

What YOU will bring us
Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Active Directory environments
Experience with Microsoft 365, VMware, and Veeam
Familiarity with Meraki network devices and VPN setup
Skills in global vendor coordination and network deployments
Working knowledge of Intune, SCCM, and SysAid
Understanding of MFA solutions and mobile authentication
Knowledge of CrowdStrike and Dell SecureWorks (Taegis)
Background in vulnerability scanning and endpoint protection
Experience participating in incident response calls
Exposure to VoIP systems like 8x8 and backup tools like Rubrik
