Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Serves as the primary resource responsible for making recommendations and proactively monitoring the organization's architecture and network technologies to ensure optimal capacity, throughput, performance, reliability, stability, and overall operational effectiveness. Designs, implements, and maintains integrated network architectures for new computer systems and physical infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, LAN/WAN/Wireless networks, Internet Service Providers, DNS, security certificates, antivirus and antimalware solutions, VPN connectivity, and advanced threat protection, while remediating security vulnerabilities to deliver a secure and reliable network environment. Architects, implements, and manages VoIP and telecommunications systems such as video conferencing, PBX, instant messaging, call center platforms, and related services. Participates in an on-call rotation and provides escalated support across network, security, and communications domains. Documents IT infrastructure disaster recovery efforts related to system recovery, internet outages, and full network disaster scenarios, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly in the design of these solutions. Collaborates regularly with business units to design and deliver solutions aligned to hardware and network infrastructure needs and remains flexible to perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Salary for this role ranges from $120,000-$128,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 7 years professional experience

• experience in Azure cloud environment

• familiar with Cisco hardware and commands, certification preferred

• very familiar with typical networking standards, protocols and best practices

• familiar setting up and managing VPNs

• familiar with certificate management and creation - familiar with Meraki

• familiar with telephony and fax providers, Vonage a plus

• conference room knowledge a plus, Crestron & Yealink a plus

• Salesforce knowledge a plus

• certifications (Azure/Cisco)
