Machine Operator ( 2nd Shift - 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll machine product components, perform in-process quality checks, and ensure production runs smoothly and safely. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines to produce parts per specifications and blueprints
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify quality throughout production
• Make minor mechanical adjustments and perform routine maintenance (oil, clean, change bits)
• Use gauges and measuring tools to ensure parts meet tolerances
• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for materials
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements and maintain a clean workspace

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, twisting)
• Must pass a drug test and adhere to PPE and attendance policies
