Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transportation Clerk

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay Range: $21.50

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

• Perform various office and administrative duties, including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections
• Assist with payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, and maintaining database records
• Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements to ensure compliance
• Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate daily with drivers, and support driver coverage during vacations and overflow freight
• Track pallets, audit driver logs, and ensure driver files meet DOT standards

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Proficiency with basic office software and database management
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
