As an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager III, you will lead all aspects of moderately complex projects, lead/manage medium to large size projects, leverage basic project management tools and accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. The caregiver in this role will support the intake and delivery of technical tools that support inpatient teams serving patients. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare. **A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with potential weekend work for Go-Live.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects through the entire project lifecycle. + Lead communication and change management for all levels of the affected organizations. + Create and manage program "Road Maps" as needed to manage resource contention and project interactions. + Perform needs assessment, requirements of planning and management, user acceptance testing (UAT) design and evaluation. + Provide workflow analysis, project discovery, and business case preparation. + Assist in ITD PMO Project Governance process. + Manage technology vendors during project lifecycle. Project Initiation & Team Formation + Develop the project charter and form a cross-functional team. + Set up and lead regular project team meetings to maintain alignment and momentum. Planning & Scope Management + Define and manage project scope, success criteria, and stakeholder requirements. + Develop a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), timeline, and resource plan. + Prevent scope creep by enforcing a structured change control process. Execution & Delivery Oversight + Oversee day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines. + Track milestones, update schedules, and manage interdependencies across teams. + Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives. Monitoring & Controlling + Continuously monitor project performance against the baseline for scope, schedule, and cost. + Analyze variances, manage changes through formal processes, and implement corrective actions as needed. + Maintain visibility into progress through reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates Budget & Resource Management + Build and manage project budgets, forecast costs and control expenses. + Coordinate and optimize resource allocation across internal teams and vendors. Risk & Issue Management + Identify and analyze risks; maintain a Risk & Issue Register. + Implement mitigation and contingency plans proactively. Stakeholder & Communication Management + Develop and execute a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed. + Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates, influence, and negotiation. Procurement & Vendor Oversight + Lead procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships. + Monitor vendor performance and ensure alignment with service-level agreements. Project Closure + Close projects effectively, conducting lessons learned sessions and stakeholder reviews. + Finalize documentation and ensure smooth hand-off or transition. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + A bachelor's degree in business or a related field + A minimum of 6 years of project management experience is required. + Experience working in a technical environment and healthcare organization is preferred. Additional project management experience may offset the degree requirement. + For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of the position start date. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Master's degree preferred. + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or Certificate in Project Management from an accredited college preferred. + Experience harmonizing application deployment and operational readiness to ensure optimal implementation success. **​Physical Requirements:** + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. + Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. + Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment. **Pay Range** Minimum Annual Salary: $92,620.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $141,265.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
