Recruiting Specialist
A Recruiter will perform all recruiting, relationship, and customer service activities to acquire new candidates and increase revenue by filling client positions. Develop and execute recruiting strategies to deliver suitable job candidates for assigned positions. Employ traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Operate as a point of contact for client, contractor and candidate matters. Build and maintain Client and Contractor relationships and deliver a high level of customer service to all. Execute the steps of the placement cycle for customers and orders while complying with company policy, employment law, and code of business conduct. Principle Responsibilities:
- Utilize Internet resources, internal database, network, and innovative candidate sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates
- Understand clients" business and initiatives, as well as their specific technical and cultural environments to best match the career goals of candidates with their hiring needs
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting cycle
- Negotiate unique compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract and hire candidates for clients" needs
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to match them with the best opportunities
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand and fill job requirements
- Attend networking events and client appointments with Sales representatives when needed
- Reach and or exceed weekly and monthly individual performance metric goals
- Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies for requisitions and target skill sets. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers
- Provide regular updates and feedback to managers on open requisitions
- Conduct contractor retention activities.
- Resolve client and contractor issues/problems, research, and makes recommendations for potential service enhancements or modifications.
- Increases revenue streams with existing clientele by marketing available candidates, soliciting new requisitions and generating sales leads.
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitors and information from candidates
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously; meet deadlines; set own priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures; schedule day events; make candidate solicitation calls; and coordinate job offers and negotiations.
- Excellent listening, decision-making, negotiation, problem solving, oral/written communication and adaptability skills
- Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
- Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook & MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication or similar concentration in a related field or college coursework towards equivalent education will also be considered
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience
- Full Life-Cycle recruiting experience
- In-depth experience with an applicant tracking system
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude; enthusiasm to network and communicate with others
