As an Aerospace facility, the Ravenna site produces radomes (nose of the plane) and focuses on balancing structural requirements of aircraft with providing optimal range for radar systems.
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a team of quality inspectors, ensuring product compliance, and maintaining adherence to established quality standards and procedures. This role partners closely with Production Supervisors to align inspection priorities with the shipping schedule and support on-time delivery. The Quality Supervisor also supports final inspection activities and serves as the self-release delegate for shipping.
In addition, this position oversees the management of the calibration laboratory, including coordinating internal calibration activities and working with inspectors and external vendors to ensure adherence to the calibration schedule. As a key member of the Quality team, the Supervisor supports corrective actions related to non-conformances and issues Quality Alerts to the shop floor to promote clear, timely communication and resolution of quality concerns.
- Manage team responsibilities, ensuring high quality integrity of all products.
- Execute talent management activities with direct reports. Ensure proper performance management, training, and development of direct reports.
- Management of Calibration Lab, including coordination of internal and external calibration testing activities
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Bachelor's Degree is required, Engineering discipline preferred
4+ years working with detailed specifications and regulations in a quality capacity. Aerospace industry preferred.
1+ years experience managing direct reports.
