Cenovus is seeking a Senior SCM US Major & Site Projects Advisor, for our Lima refinery. This role is critical to the development of SCM for Major Projects in the US. The successful candidate will be the SCM representative for our largest US Major Project - DWFC. They will need to conduct large RFPs, work closely with the Project Management Team both in the US and Calgary, manage contractors with Performance Review meetings and be able to adapt quickly to any changes as the project proceeds. This role will also handle some site projects and maintain relationships with the LRC Site Projects Team.

What you’ll do:
Complete SCM standard processes for Cenovus Sourcing activities, ensuring these practices are in accordance with Cenovus Operations Integrity Management System (COIMS), Cenovus SCM Policy, SCM Management System Documents and all relevant regulations for US Major Projects and LRC Site Projects
Develop Project or Scope specific Contracting Strategies and Contract Execution Plans in support of Gate reviews and Project execution
Provide oversight of Engineering & Procurement (E&P) Contractors in managing Project Contracting activities (per the division of responsibilities between Cenovus and E&P)
Ensure all Contracting documentation is stored in the appropriate Contract Management Systems
The role requires a high level of problem solving and decision making from an SCM standpoint while working closely with the Project Management Teams
Who you are:
Legally authorized to work in the US
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field an asset.
8+ years of overall professional experience, with significant project-based experience; background in refinery and downstream projects an asset.
SAP experience considered an asset.
