Associate General Counsel - Litigation

Crown Equipment Corporation, a family-owned international leading manufacturer, distributor, and servicer of material handling equipment, is seeking to add an experienced civil litigator to its Law Department as an Associate General Counsel. Significant first-hand experience in litigating products liability, general tort, commercial, and/or employment cases is required.

The position requires the direct, hands-on management of litigation pending in federal and state courts in locations throughout the United States, and travel for in-person attendance at major proceedings. This role will be a peer of an existing close-knit team of Associate General Counsels who share an active and fast-paced case load.

The successful candidate will have at least eight years of experience in litigation in a law firm setting or combined with in-house management of cases. Experience developing case strategies, drafting and arguing motions, engaging in written discovery and deposition practice, and trial involvement is required. An ability to think strategically, manage a large case load, communicate with department management, and work closely with national and local defense counsel is critical to succeeding in the role.

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to west central Ohio for this non-remote, non-hybrid position. Those unwilling to timely relocate to the area near the corporate headquarters need not apply.
