Who we are

MIH Systems Group is a fast-growing HVAC services company based in Hudson, OH. We optimize complex building HVAC systems from new construction through the life of existing facilities—delivering startup, maintenance, break/fix service, and equipment retrofits across many manufacturers.

The role

As an HVACR Service Professional supporting the Columbus, OH area (with a Hudson, OH base), you’ll tackle air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management systems. You’ll work independently, communicate clearly, and stay organized—owning outcomes that make buildings perform better.

What you’ll tackle

• Commission and start up complex HVAC equipment across multiple OEMs.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial systems, including water-source heat pumps and rooftop packaged units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend retrofit paths to enhance efficiency and uptime.
• Document work thoroughly and coordinate with clients and internal team members.

Skills and credentials

• Strong diagnostic ability on commercial HVACR systems; able to work safely and independently.
• Startup/commissioning background; experience mentoring others is valued.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Personal hand tools and a clean driving record are required.
• OSHA 10-hour; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Master HVAC-R preferred.
• Preferred OEM trainings: Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster.
• Reliable, communicative, and punctual.

Pay

Estimated Salary: $35/hourly - $55/hourly based on experience and skills plus benefits.
