Our Specialty Vegetable Packers are essential. They take all of our produce thats been harvested and make sure that its cleaned and beautifully prepared to send to our customers.

The ideal candidate for this position has high attention to detail, is methodical and precise. Limited experience is required for this position - we are more than willing to teach you along the way. Every day in this position will be a little different. Youll be exposed to a wide range of products and learn how to package them to the standard of even the most demanding chefs.

This job is ideal for people who shudder at the idea of a 9-5 desk job as youll regularly be on the move. Youll need to be able to stand for long periods of time; sit; walk; climb steps, reach with hands and arms; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Basic mathematic skills are needed for this role (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals). This position is also great for people who prefer sweater weather as our packing room is generally from 38-41 degrees Fahrenheit.

While things on the farm can look different almost every day, heres what some day-to-day responsibilities may look like:

• Ensure there is no damage to the products you are packaging and package with presentation in mind. Label each box uniformly and verify that each address is correct and matches the customer order
• Fill the current day's orders accurately with quality product
• Assist in the cleaning, trimming, sorting, and packing of vegetables and microgreens, including running the cleaning machines for certain items
• Keep all utensils (scissors, knives, thermometers, etc.) cleaned and sanitized according to all Food Safety policies and standards
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
