Title: Network/Systems Engineer

Location: Wooster, OH - Hybrid (On-Site Mon, Tues, Thurs)

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

Position Overview
The Network/Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network systems and controls in a manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in automation, PLC systems, and communication protocols to ensure seamless operation and connectivity of various systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions for manufacturing systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
• Manage and optimize PLC systems, particularly ControlLogix, to enhance automation processes.
• Integrate HMI systems using AVEVA and Wonderware for efficient user interfaces and data visualization.
• Develop and maintain control panels and associated hardware to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
• Utilize Object Oriented Programming and .Net Programming to develop software solutions that improve system functionality.
• Perform SQL database management to ensure data integrity and accessibility within manufacturing systems.
• Provide training and support to staff on network and system operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network architecture and systems engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming and HMI development.
• Familiarity with AVEVA and Wonderware software applications.
• Experience with Ethernet and IP communication protocols.
• Proficient in Object Oriented Programming and .Net Programming.
• Knowledge of SQL for database management and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
