Job Description:

Background:

We are seeking an experienced candidate to support the shipping and receiving operations in our fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will report to, and complete tasks as directed by the Shipping/Receiving Lead, while also having the ability to work independently. This role is critical to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products while maintaining efficient inbound and outbound operations, inventory accuracy, a high standard of customer satisfaction and a team mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Logistics Operations

· Load all outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery, proper packaging and accuracy of material being shipped.

· Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and additional documents related to customer orders.

· Maintain organization of the dock to ensure shipping is handled efficiently.

Receiving & Inventory Management

· Handle the receiving of raw materials, supplies, and returned goods.

· Ensure timely and accurate inspection, documentation, and stocking of incoming materials.

· Collaborate with Inventory and Production teams to maintain accurate stock levels and resolve discrepancies.

Team Participation

· Collaborate with Shipping/Receiving Lead to improve efficiency in the dock, material handling and warehouse organization.

· Maintain cleanliness of the dock and shipping areas.

· Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO and company standards.

· Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Experience in operating a forklift

· Ability to use Microsoft Office products, mainly Outlook, Excel and Word

· Be organized and self-motivated

· Must be detail oriented

· Adapt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs

· Work independently within a team environment

· Follow established policies and procedure
