Lead Supervisor Tube Laser Operator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Supervisor Tube Laser Operator/Laser Operator Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operation and scheduling of our advanced Trumpf Tube Laser and Flat Laser systems. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the precise and efficient cutting of steel tubing, meeting our customers' exact specifications. Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the operation and scheduling for the Trumpf Tube Laser and Flat Laser systems.
- Operate advanced tube laser cutting equipment to cut steel tubing according to work instructions and technical drawings.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of cuts by performing regular machine maintenance and calibration.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions to set up and program the laser cutting machine.
- Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lead Tube Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting technology and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment.
