**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
+ Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
+ Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and coordination with first responders, as needed.
+ Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the auto industry environment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
