Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care
- Provide, coordinate, and delegate nursing care for patients post-anesthesia
- Manage resources to deliver optimal care for patients, families, and the community
- Utilize judgment and evidence-based practice in nursing care
- Maintain and restore optimum health for patients
Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN)
- Current RN license in the State of Ohio
- 2+ years of recent PACU experience
- Experience with Epic systems within the last 12 months
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within six months of hire
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
