Job Summary:
The Seasonal PC Technician: Coordinator is an entry level, on-site, IT position that provides day-to-day support, maintenance, and assistance for all Vail Resorts IT approved hardware and software locally. The seasonal PC Technician supports and completes a variety of tasks, including providing end-user support for computer hardware and peripherals, creating and updating documentation, and uses a work ticket management system to track progress and document solutions. The PC Technician works as part of the IT team to proactively identify problems and facilitate solutions, repair hardware and software in a Windows Client/Server LAN environment and support multiple point of sale systems in a manner that provides an Experience of a Lifetime for Vail Resorts employees and guests. The PC Tech prioritizes safety and guest service while living the company’s core values to deliver excellent IT support.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $22.32/hr - $30.57/hr

Job Responsibilities:

Be Safe:

  • Prioritize and ensure personal, coworker and guest safety in all aspects of your work.

Serve Others:

  • Provide tier one review and support of software/application issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Use the work ticket management system to manage start-to-finish work flow for support tickets in alignment with company metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Support the deployment, relocation, and re-installation of Vail Resorts approved IT equipment in offices, outlets, special event sites, etc.
  • Provide exceptional guest service supporting users and collaborating with coworkers, ensuring the Experience of a Lifetime.

Drive Value for the Company:

  • Provide support for resort and remote-location sales points and peripherals.
  • Provide end-user support of Vail Resorts IT managed technology, including workstations, peripherals, printers, telephones, time clocks, etc.
  • Configure, track, maintain and properly dispose of Vail Resort IT managed technology, including workstations, point of sale systems, hand-held devices, peripherals, etc.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation, as assigned.
  • Strive for continual improvement and growth by actively participating in company and regional specific training, as well as corporate SOPs.
  • Suggest and support implementation of new ideas for improving user support and the guest experience.

The expected pay range is $22.32/hr - $30.57/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
