Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH (43228) – Ohio healthcare job
• Facility: Heart & Vascular - Interventional Lab
• Position Type: Travel/Locum Tenens Radiologic Technologist
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:30)
• Call Requirement: 8-10 shifts/month, including 1-2 weekends
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750-$2820

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification – Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Proficiency in scrubbing for cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology cases
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation safety, and medical terminology
• Must reside more than 100 miles from central Columbus to qualify for this travel healthcare job

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist Interventional Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures (scrubbing, monitoring, circulating)
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and support coronary, peripheral, and neurovascular procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout all clinical procedures
• Accurately monitor and document patient status during procedures
• Participate in call rotation and provide coverage for weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Float to other clinical units as needed to support patient care
