Dishwasher/Porter

Come join us at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motived care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn’t just a job, it’s a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs.

We are seeking to hire a Dishwasher/Porter - Full-Time. The schedule would include an Every Other Weekend rotation.

• $14.50 per hour.

Dishwasher/Porter Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain reliable attendance.
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Must be courteous, compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be able to understand, read & write English.

Dishwasher/Porter Working Conditions:

• Bending, standing, sitting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
• Must assist in the evacuation of residents. Subject to long periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift laundry, furniture, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty five (50) pounds.

Dishwasher/Porter Job Summary:

• Clean all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and miscellaneous items according to standard.
• Maintain neat and tidy work area and other areas assigned.
• Dispose of refuse and trash in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
• Clean floors and stairwells to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping.
• Transport linen from all floors to laundry facilities.
• Clean windows/air vents.
• Setsup for special events, moving furniture and fixtures.
