Gastroenterology Physician (Cleveland)

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and all physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a larger network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging began in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. The practice handles approximately 2,300 patients monthly with a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week range from approximately $160,000 to over $225,000, depending on volume. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There is no weekend or night call, and malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is paid for by the practice. Over 19 years and more than 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our mission at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered via a mobile unit, as shown on our website.

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit at various facilities, private offices, and for homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day scheduling possible depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
