Manufacturing Team Lead

Production Zone Team Leader - B Shift Delaware-based Manufacturing Company.

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Zone Team Leader to guide our B Shift operations. This leadership role is the heartbeat of the production floor - think “flight attendant” for our manufacturing zone - ensuring smooth, safe, and productive workflows across teams.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 3:15 PM - 1:15 AM.

Location: On the production floor ~70% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Lead a production zone to meet and exceed output goals.
• Organize and deliver training materials to improve team knowledge and performance.
• Facilitate timely work center arrivals for associates.
• Distribute and verify labor tickets and production labels.
• Provide real-time support via radio for associates in need of guidance.
• Escalate issues to Maintenance or Material Handlers when necessary.
• Support line changes and material setup (foil, facing, glass).
• Enter production results and maintain accurate documentation.
• Actively work to improve production rates and reduce scrap.
• Step in to run production lines during breaks and lunches.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attendance and employment record.
• Effective communication and coaching skills.
• Working knowledge of safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Basic experience in manufacturing processes: molding, stamping, waterjet.
• Familiarity with raw materials like fiberglass, fabric, steel, and binder.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (not required).
