Maintenance Associate
Maintenance Associate Location: Multiple Sites (Travel by company provided vehicle); based out of Cambridge, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Travel Required: Yes Tool Requirement: Yes, the candidate will be expected to have a set of tools that will be inventoried during the employment process. Position Summary We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Associate to perform maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities. This includes work in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and committed to maintaining safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems Complete carpentry tasks such as drywall repair, framing, and fixture installation Paint and touch up surfaces as needed Assist with landscaping and snow removal as required Maintain records of work orders, repairs, and inspections Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations Travel between company locations as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in maintenance or a related trade Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Must pass a background check and drug screening Basic personal toolset required (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, etc) Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and crawling Use of heavy power tools Daily inspections and work on heavy construction equipment Visual abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Why Work With Us Competitive pay Opportunities for advancement Supportive work environment Work that makes a direct impact on daily operations Equal Opportunity Employer Southeastern Equipment is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
