Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join our team in Chillicothe, OH, 45601. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our inventory is accurately tracked and managed, contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular counts and audits.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and generate reports.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding inventory needs and discrepancies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is preferred.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
