Position: Casting and Pasting Operator
Location: Fremont, OH
Pay Rate: $22.20 to $24.90 an hour based on experience
Shift: 2nd (2 pm to 11 pm) and 3rd (11 pm to 7 am)

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices while operating machinery and equipment in the plant.
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers efficiently.
• Maintain consistent productivity levels to meet or exceed minimum requirements.
• Participate in various manufacturing processes, including loading, sorting, pasting, and loading of cells.
• Safely transport pasted plates from machines to storage racks.
• Execute the bonding of plate lugs with precision.
• Remove casted straps while maintaining product integrity.
• Identify and promptly report any product, process, or quality system issues to lead personnel.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold a smooth operational flow.

Essential Skills:

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to utilize hand tools and torches as necessary.
• Possess basic math skills to perform required calculations.
• Exhibit effective communication skills to coordinate tasks within a team environment.
• Utilize prior experience with inspection equipment, gauges, and measuring tools to maintain product quality.
• Capable of lifting or moving items weighing up to 75 lbs.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in casting or pasting operations.
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening.
