Production Assembler

Summary:

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling components into sub-assemblies and final products according to established procedures and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are assembled correctly and meet customer expectations. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday on first shift, with overtime opportunities available as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect products and components for quality and report any issues or defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly stand, walk, reach, use hands, and perform repetitive motions.
• Frequently lift and move materials up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform close-up work and maintain visual focus on detailed assembly tasks.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or production environment.
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment and vibration.
• Moderate noise levels.
• Must follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
