Welder

Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for welding industrial electrical panels based on prints and work instructions. This role involves performing MIG welds on stainless and mild steel, assembling steel to build frames for commercial electrical panels, and staging products for shipment following assembly. You will also use a tape measure to ensure quality standards and engage in the assembly and fabrication of steel parts using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Weld industrial electrical panels based on prints and work instructions.
• Perform MIG welds on stainless and mild steel.
• Assemble steel to build frames for commercial electrical panels.
• Stage products for shipment following assembly.
• Use a tape measure to ensure quality standards.
• Engage in the assembly and fabrication of steel parts using hand and power tools.

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in assembling structures for panels and structural steel.
• Strong tape measure reading skills (this is a critical requirement).

• Ability to operate a tow motor.
• Willingness to assist in various tasks as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean facility with large bay doors that remain open, providing natural ventilation. While it is not temperature-controlled, the facility has recently expanded by acquiring a third building, adding two additional production lines.

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
