Data Center Technician
Kforce has a client in Boardman, OR that is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join their infrastructure support team. In this role, you will serve as a primary resolver for hardware-related issues, leveraging your troubleshooting expertise to maintain and optimize data center operations. You will document supported technologies and share knowledge with junior staff, contributing to a collaborative and efficient technical environment. Responsibilities:
- Data Center Technician will troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues
- Maintain and update documentation for supported technologies
- Mentor junior technicians and assist with knowledge transfer
- Perform basic to intermediate system administration tasks remotely
- Automate routine tasks using scripting tools when applicable
- As a Data Center Technician, you will work independently to resolve support issues and escalate when necessary
- Understand and manage all aspects of supported equipment
- Innovate and make informed decisions while following detailed instructions when required
- High School diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and networking
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in virtual team environments
- CompTIA certification
- Experience in hardware support and network troubleshooting
