Sales Development Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our client to support revenue growth and pipeline development through strategic prospect engagement and lead generation. This onsite role in Cincinnati, OH focuses on building early stage relationships, coordinating meetings, and assisting the sales team in advancing opportunities. The position offers hands on exposure to the full sales cycle, including client interaction and market outreach. This is a direct hire opportunity for individuals interested in launching or advancing a career in sales.
Compensation:
$56,000 to $65,000 base salary plus commission
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Development Representative:
- Drive outbound prospect engagement through targeted messaging, scheduling introductory meetings for the sales team
- Build and maintain lead lists through research, ensuring accurate and organized prospect data
- Manage inbound inquiries while coordinating follow ups, calendar scheduling, and general administrative support
- Participate in sales conversations and assist with moving prospects through early stages of the sales process
- Represent the organization at industry events and trade shows to expand connections and generate new opportunities
- Strong interest in sales careers with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and engaging approach
- Demonstrated persistence, motivation, and ability to work through challenges
- Previous experience in customer facing roles such as retail, hospitality, or service environments or a recent college degree
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
This role offers hands on experience within a collaborative sales environment where you will work closely with experienced professionals.
