Job Title: Welder/Fabricator ($22-30/hr.) (4pm-2:30am) + $3.00 shift diff.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
• Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat.
• Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AWS Certification preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or vocational training is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working independently and as part of a team, with shifts starting from 4 PM to 4 AM. There is a $3 shift differential for the 2nd shift. Be prepared to work 48-55 hours a week. The facility is committed to safety and cleanliness.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streetsboro, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
