Contract Project Engineer- 1099
Clark Reder Engineering is seeking a part‑time 1099 Project Engineer. In this role, you will perform structural analysis and support client relationships across a variety of projects, working independently on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Structural Analysis & Design
- Perform structural analysis on projects, applying engineering principles and industry standards.
- Prepare structural submittal packages for client review, permitting, and construction purposes.
- Review and interpret structural drawings and documentation to ensure design accuracy.
Project Management & Client Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for projects, developing and maintaining professional rapport.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide technical guidance as needed.
Field Support & Observation
- Perform structural observation at various job sites, ensuring compliance with design intent and construction standards.
- Collaborate with contractors and project teams to address technical challenges in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Preference for experience in the entertainment industry or projects with complex structural design requirements.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Must have efficient remote work setup.
