Lab Technician
On-Site role
Job Description:
- Work Location - Marysville, OH
- Work Schedule - FT, M-F
Overall objective/accountability:
- Perform routine general chemistry analyses and sample preparations per Client or official methodologies.
- Support administrative tasks and Good Laboratory Practices checks performed.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
- Receive, process and track analytical sample requests.
- Communicate with project managers to obtain necessary information.
- Coordinate analyses with other Analytical Section analysts.
- Perform routine in-house chemical and physical testing.
- Monitor and maintain basic analytical equipment.
- Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean environment.
- Accurately document analytical analysis.
- Comply with Client Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or B.S. in a Science related field with one year related experience or High School Diploma (or GED) with three years related experience.
Specific requirements:
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Ability to accurately perform analytical procedures and administrative tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
