Role Overview

During the interview process with the TAX staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

• Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.

• Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Services Overview

Staff Augmentation Services

• Software developer for enterprise tax system. Will perform the following tasks:
• Implement Tax Logic: Design, code, and test the complex algorithms and formulas that automate tax calculations, deductions, and credits, ensuring they precisely match the current tax regulations
• Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Proactively monitor and quickly implement updates to the system's code and databases in response to new tax laws, rate changes, and mandated electronic filing form revisions to ensure continuous compliance.
• Ensure Data Security: Build and maintain the application with rigorous security controls, encryption, and data validation to protect highly sensitive financial and tax information from unauthorized access or error.
• Collaborate with Tax Experts: Work closely with Tax Accountants and Finance professionals to gather detailed requirements, validate the accuracy of the software's results, and translate complex tax legislation into clear technical specifications.
  
  

Skill

• Minimum 2 years of experience performing Gentax software development and configuration. (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with .NET Framework, C#, and SQL development methodologies. (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on a large development team. (Required)
• Proven ability to solve problems and debug independently, without direction or management involvement. (Required)
