Job Purpose
This position is responsible for lien perfection, payoff processing, collateral tracking, credit bureau reporting, adding transfers and completing loan service requests. Associate will be responsible for providing extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers, answering calls and researching questions regarding consumer loans serviced by Peoples Bank. Other functions that support the above-mentioned processes will also be the responsibility of the position.
Job Duties
- Facilitate lien perfection on Peoples Bank financed collateral when required
- Track lien perfection efforts (titles, recorded mortgage/deed of trust, and final title opinions)
- Handle the release of lien on collateral that has been paid in full according to Peoples Bank’s policy
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with BMV/DMV offices
- Paid out report processing which includes but is not limited to pulling the physical file, releasing the lien, and mailing paid papers to the customer
- Respond to credit bureau disputes and ensure proper reporting
- Answer calls and research questions from internal and external customers
- Add and check back automatic transfers to IBS Insight
- Complete service requests input through our Salesforce CRM System
- Develop and update written procedures
- Cross train with other positions within the Loan Operations department
- Will complete special projects as assigned.
Normal hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday, some Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm
Education, Experience and Job Skills
- High School Diploma or GED certification required; Associates Degree preferred
- At least one year of banking experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail
- Complete
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
- Positive and professional attitude in an open, team environment
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED certification required.
