Job Title: Entry-Level Clerical Assistant Accounting Office
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Clerical Assistant to join our accounting office. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a professional financial environment while supporting daily office operations, especially during the fast-paced tax season.

Key Responsibilities: Provide general clerical support including data entry, filing, and document organization. Assist with client communication via phone, email, and in person. Support accounting staff with administrative tasks as needed. Handle basic customer service inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of financial information. Assist with payroll-related tasks when applicable

Qualifications: Previous customer service experience required; experience in banking, insurance, or accounting is a plus. Basic knowledge of payroll and payroll taxes is beneficial; tax-related experience is helpful but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a small team environment. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting, especially during tax season. Willingness to work additional hours and overtime as needed.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree not required.

Work Environment: This position operates in a small office setting with a collaborative team. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during peak tax season.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. $16-$20/hr
