The Channel Development Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the residential builder channel program including strategic builder account relationships, channel partner execution and marketing and training support initiatives. This role will involve identifying opportunities to position water treatment as a vital feature in new homes, enhancing both homeowner satisfaction and providing builders with a distinctive competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies, prioritizes, and actively engages with high-potential residential builders and developers to integrate water treatment systems as a strategic differentiator, whether as a standard inclusion or premium upgrade, across new construction projects.
- Creates and implements data-driven, builder-specific sales and marketing plans that align with broader business objectives, maximize revenue potential, and position the organization as a preferred partner in residential development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional development forecasts to inform sales and marketing strategies, uncover new opportunities, and refine go-to-market approaches for maximum impact.
- Cultivates influential, trust-based partnerships with builders, channel partners (dealers), design consultants, and construction decision-makers to drive long-term business growth and accelerate the adoption of water treatment solutions across project pipelines.
- Develops and delivers strategic sales enablement programs through the channel partner (dealer) that empower builder sales professionals to effectively communicate product value, enhance buyer conversion, and drive up-selling opportunities within the homebuyer journey.
- Consistently achieves or exceeds defined sales targets, program KPIs, and growth objectives through proactive territory management, pipeline development, and strategic account expansion efforts
- Coordinates and leads dealer and builder sales and training presentations. Designs and implements builder design center and model home sales, training and marketing support materials.

What you will need to succeed:
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience preferably in the builder industry
- Experience in residential construction, building materials, or water treatment industry preferred.
- Proven record of success building relationships with builders or developers.
- Leadership and general management experience and capabilities.
- A leader with exceptional operational business acumen and a bias for action.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to work with and across Kinetico’s other businesses and customers.
- Deep understanding of financial statements and metrics, and the ability to interpret drivers of business successes, opportunities, and to communicate financial results.
- Collaborative and open to learning.
- Attention to details on operational and financial aspects of the business.
- Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products

- Revenue growth from builder accounts; project adoption rates
- Development of new builder partnerships, increasing market penetration
