Electro-Mechanical Assembler | Troubleshooting + Tech + Travel
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Type: Contract

We’re looking for a sharp, mechanically inclined problem-solver who knows their way around circuit boards, control panels, and a tool bench. If you can read a schematic like it’s a roadmap and love turning wire and steel into functional precision, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform hands-on electro-mechanical assembly in a production environment

• Troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits, power supplies, data acquisition systems, and electronic machine controls

• Assemble and wire control cabinets, build cables, fabricate parts, and lay out control panels

• Maintain inventory and document any assembly modifications

• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes

• Travel as needed for field repair and maintenance assignments

Must-Haves

• Associate Degree in Electronics or certification from a recognized military or trade school

• Strong electronic troubleshooting skills across motor controls, power systems, and machine circuits

• Experience building analog and digital circuits

• Ability to work from schematics, assembly blueprints, and technical documents with minimal supervision

• Solid organizational skills — you’ll manage parts inventory and document changes

• Pass a written aptitude test

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Willing and able to travel for field service work

Nice to Have

• Experience with mechanical assembly, gear chains, or lightweight structural systems

• Skills in cable building, panel layout, pipefitting, or part fabrication

• Familiarity with hydraulic systems

• PLC programming experience

• Production background in machine control systems
