Department Summary

This role focuses on an individual planning team for the CSK Microstores,
the successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, and adept knowledge of technology. Training will be provided for all computer software.

Job Profile

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Works in Ohio University culinary services, providing customer service, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for students and staff. Duties may include serving/preparing/stocking food, dining room and dishroom cleaning, inventory, cashiering, and hostessing.

Level Summary

Performs basic tasks and assists with administrative or operational duties under supervision. Roles are entry-level and aimed at providing exposure to workplace environments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Limited supervisory responsibilities. May supervise other student workers.

Fiscal Responsibilities:

No budgetary responsibility.

Problem Solving:

Addresses routine, well-defined problems under supervision.

Independence of Action:

Works under close supervision.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicates primarily with supervisor and peers. Collaborates with team members to accomplish tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post-secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines. Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools. Departments may have specific minimum requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be 18 Years of Age
• Must have valid Drivers License
• Must be knowledgeable of Computers/Technology
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to work 12+ hour per week (M-SUN) (No Saturday)
• Applicants available to work during the summer will be highly considered

Working Condition/Physical Demands:

This role is 40% Computer work and 60% Field work at varying locations across Athens Campus
