Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living, a leading provider of luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas, is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our professional team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality, safety, and appearance of our communities.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will utilize your expertise to perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative upkeep across multiple properties. You will be the go-to problem solver who ensures residents enjoy a comfortable and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Address service requests and emergency repair needs promptly and professionally.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal property condition.
• Assist with unit turnovers by preparing apartments for new residents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with residents and management teams to resolve maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for on-call and emergency maintenance duties as needed.
