Clean Room Assembler - 3 Needed
A manufacturing company is seeking Clean Room Assemblers who will be responsible for building, testing, and documenting sub-assemblies and top-level integration for Production. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical components, integrate electrical components, test and document all top-level product and sub-systems for production use by customers
Ensure all product is built and tested according to the documented procedures and all forms are completed correctly
Maintain the Clean Room and all associated equipment, including scheduling daily room maintenance for bioburden testing and air quality testing
Receive and inspect incoming materials for workmanship standard and quality compliance
Perform final integration and testing of top-level product based on instructions, as well as electrical safety testing of product before final shipping
Prepare and handle chemicals for use in the Clean Room and support Medical Device Assembly
Support Lean and Health and Safety Initiatives
Provide support and feedback to quality and manufacturing engineering
Perform all other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma or GED
University or College Degree in a technical area such as Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technology or Engineering with Electronics background is preferred
Must have 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated (ISO 9001) environment and performing intricate high dexterity manufacturing, preferably in the Medical Device Industry (ISO 13485)
One to two years experience with catheter assembly or clean room assembly is a plus
Must have experience working with MR Compatible Devices and Therapeutic Ultrasound Devices along with knowledge of good manufacturing practices is preferred
Exposure to electronic measurement and test equipment such as hipot, current leakage tester, and pressure leak tester is needed
Must have the ability to use common shop tools and common mechanical measuring equipment
Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability is required
Must have excellent written and verbal technical communications skills
Must be detail-orientated, highly motivated, patient, and diligent
