Travel MRI Tech Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Inpatient & Outpatient
• Employment Type: Travel/Locum Tenens MRI Technologist
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025, End: 2/2/2026)
• Average Daily Caseload: 35–40 MRI cases
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Electronic Health Record: EPIC
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2260–$2320

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Valid Ohio State License (or eligibility to obtain; submittals without OH license accepted)
• Prior travel MRI Tech experience required
• Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care imaging
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS
• Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred
• Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager, director, or supervisor)

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for neuro, abdominal, musculoskeletal, and oncology patients
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners and manage images using PACS
• Conduct advanced imaging procedures: Fusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, ADC mapping, subtraction, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo, Surface Coils, T1 & T2 Weighted Imaging, and Spine Imaging (Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic)
• Support both inpatient and outpatient MRI imaging needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EHR
• Comply with all hospital credentialing and compliance requirements, including fingerprinting
