SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $85,000 - $135,000

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) , named a “Zweig Group’s “Best Firms to Work For.” is a consulting firm with a team of engineers, planners and other related design professionals is actively seeking to add a 4–10-year experienced level Senior Electrical Engineer to our Water Resources Team. This role will support all levels of staff within the team while providing the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working closely with project engineers and project managers
• Multi-discipline project teams providing electrical engineering design and technical expertise
• Design, report writing and field investigations
• Cost estimating and periodic construction observation
• Design of new or improvements to existing water treatment facilities, water booster pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater pumping stations, and other water/wastewater infrastructure
• Attendance at client meetings
• Travel to project sites

Position Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated technical design & construction expertise in Electrical Engineering in industrial or consulting with a plus in water resources arena.
• Minimum of 4-10 years of electrical experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or the ability to gain licensure in Illinois.
• Demonstrated skills and a working knowledge and/or be willing to learn to use AutoCAD and Revit for use in designing projects.
• Strong technical skills to include experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with access to transportation

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior work experience in electrical engineering
• Technical design experience with project design related to power distribution, systems integration and lighting using engineering design/drafting software
• Moderate to advanced AutoCAD or Revit capabilities
