Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Toolmaker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and tooling, with expertise in operating CNC milling, Wire & Die Sinker machines. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components and tools that meet precise specifications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of interpreting technical drawings, and proficient in using various precision measuring instruments.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines to fabricate precision components according to specifications.
• Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
• Utilize Mastercam and SolidWorks for designing and modifying tooling and parts.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in machining.
• Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) for complex shapes and features.
• Engage in plastics injection molding processes as needed.
• Fabricate tools, fixtures, and assemblies using hand tools, welding techniques, and stamping presses.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist Toolmaker or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, tooling, and fabrication.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential.
• Experience with CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T, Both wire and electrical discharge machining, plastics injection molding, welding, assembly, and stamping press operations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
