MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn
Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions, ensuring the well-being of your patients.
As an MD/DO Ob/Gyn , you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting routine check-ups and screenings to performing surgical procedures when necessary. Your role is essential in promoting women's health and addressing issues related to the female reproductive system. Join us in making a difference in the lives of women through compassionate and expert medical care.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular gynecological examinations and screenings.
- Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions and disorders.
- Providing prenatal care to pregnant women, monitoring fetal development.
- Performing surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, C-sections, and laparoscopies.
- Offering guidance and support to patients on reproductive health and family planning.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping detailed medical records and documentation of patient visits.
- Participating in continuing medical education to stay updated on advancements in the field.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ob/Gyn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
Call: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
Level II NICU
Patient Volume: 20 per day, 10 deliveries per month
May provide coverage at satellite locations once per month
Procedures: Ultrasound, colposcopy, IUDs, LEEP, and general OB/GYN practice procedures
On-site imaging and lab
Support Staff: MDs, CNP, CNMs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
