Position Summary:
We are hiring a Chemical Dependency Counselors Assistant (CDCA) to support clients in their recovery journey through individual and group counseling, assessments, case management, and crisis intervention. This is a vital front-line role in our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions
- Assist with assessments and treatment planning
- Support clients in setting recovery goals and addressing barriers
- Provide referrals and coordinate community resources
- Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- May assist with transportation or outreach as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Active CDCA certification (or proof of submission)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be 21+ and pass background check and drug screening
- Meets qualifications for case management services under COA standards
