Long Term Temporary General Worker

POSITION: General Worker - Edison Elementary 6 hours per day Long Term Temporary through the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year QUALIFICATIONS: - High school graduate
- Bookkeeping and accounting skills
- General aptitude for leadership
- Energetic, productive, and customer-oriented attitude
- Must have or obtain ServSafe Handler accreditation or able to obtain
- Familiar with ODE Child Nutrition Lunch Guidelines
- Experience in quantity standardized recipes and cooking
- Able to maintain inventory and rotate products
- Cashiering experience or ability to develop this skill, displaying honesty and integrity
- Knowledge of proper operation of commercial equipment and safety procedures
- Merchandising ability
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain fast-paced production
- Familiar with universal safety procedures for blood-borne pathogens and hazard communications
GENERAL DUTIES: - Respond to directives from Cook Manager and Supervisor in a professional and cooperative manner at all times
- Prepare food
- Do bookkeeping for state and federal reports
- Cashier and keep accurate accounts of lunch program procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator
