Reports To: Machine Shop Supervisor Wage Classification: Non-Exempt Job Summary: Fabrication of SAKAMURA parts using manual machines for the repair of SAKAMURA machines. Email Address: [email protected] Please provide any specific information that you would like to discuss. We are looking to hire at least 2 Field Service technicians in the next 1-3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, have some electrical/mechanical experience, and be willing to learn. They should also be willing to travel probably around 40-50% of the time after their training period. Travel is in the continental US, Eastern Canada, and the occasional trip to Mexico. By increasing our number of Field Service Technicians, we hope to reduce the amount of travel for our techs. Primary Responsibilities

• Fabricates and shapes parts for SAKAMURA out of metal and composites using proper material per drawings with timely manner.
• Properly sets up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, machinery, and drills accurately and efficiently.
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Properly selects, aligns, secures, and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.
• Uses the proper materials according to blueprint with minimal waste.
• Reads and interprets blue prints accurately.
• Holds very close tolerances and fine finishes.
• Refers to machine drawings when working at the shop.
• Assists in troubleshooting and repairing SAKAMURA facility machinery and update maintenance logs when possible.
• Performs preventative maintenance on SAKAMURA facility machinery and/or tools.

• Maintains the SAKAMURA shop and office equipment (hand tools, measuring tools, PC, cell phones, vehicles, safety equipment, uniforms, etc.) Notifies management if there is an issue.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the SAKAMURA facility.
• Maintains safety and security of all work areas, both on and off site (company vehicles, doors secured in the facility, complying with all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, and practices.)
• Uses time effectively and efficiently.
• Carries out job effectively and efficiently.
• Clocks in and out every day.
• Properly program, set up, and run CNC Mazak.
• Continue to learn how to set up and run CNC Okuma.
• Continue to learn how to draw and program in Solid Works.
