Dimensional Inspector
Job Title: Dimensional Inspector
Location: Orrville, OH
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Salary: Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dimensional inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Measure and evaluate geometric tolerances against detailed specifications.
- Interpret complex blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data effectively.
- Accurately document inspection results and communicate findings to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in dimensional inspection; or an Associate's Degree (or higher) with at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in using dimensional hand tools and a solid understanding of inspection techniques.
- Certification in Visual Testing (VT) or Penetrant Testing (PT) is a significant advantage and will be compensated accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Local candidates are preferred; however, we welcome applicants who may require per diem and are open to relocating after an initial period.
